THE COUNTERFEIT STONES ARE BACK WITH

BRAND NEW “GET OFF MY CHORD” TOUR!

The Counterfeit Stones kicked off this decade by rocking in the New Year in Cardiff Town Square and will continue rolling out the new tour, Get Off My Chord, across the UK.  It will take in the nation’s hotspots (Bilston, Abergavenny and Stevenage, to name a few!) and includes the old stomping ground of The Rolling Stones, current home to Mick, some of the ex-spouses and the site of the Crawdaddy Club - Richmond.  It will be worth the price of admission just to see if Nick Dagger’s use of his G-string and trademark moves will tempt Jerry Hall on to the premises.

These multi-media rock n’ roll shows have the band doing razor sharp renditions of The Rolling Stones greatest hits, let you C-major spoof film clips of events in the band’s history and the between songs gags have more cheap shots than a Russian barmaid!

The best thing about Get Off My Chord, of course, is that you can get the full experience of a Stones stadium gig (minus the global warming inducing pyrotechnics – health and safety!!) in more intimate venues at a fraction of the price.

Not only have Nick Dagger, Keef Rickard, Bill Hymen, Charlie Mott and the Unholy Trinity of
Bryon Jones/Mick Tailor-Made/Ronnie B Good been thrilling sold-out crowds around the globe for over 15 years (including 25,000 people at the BBC Proms in The Park last year), being praised in tabloids and broadsheets alike, but they have also been featured in the Bill Bailey presented BBC Radio 2 documentary, “Earth, Wind For Hire”,  recorded the soundtrack for Stephen Woolley’s major motion picture on the life and death of Brian Jones, “Stoned”. and received the ultimate accolade when Sir Mick himself referred to the Counterfeit Stones as “the most famous Stones band” in a recent BBC World Service interview.
